Executive Director — Anne Poynter

Anne Poynter joined DWNA in June of 2010 as the organization’s first full-time employee. She manages daily operations and accounting, event planning oversight, serves on multiple committees to improve the revitalization of the downtown, works with local merchants, government, schools and the greater community to improve the quality of life in Westfield. Poynter’s twenty years of experience in non-profit fundraising, politics and community development allow her to work in the many areas required of her position. Before joining Westfield, Ms. Poynter was recruited by Mayor Brainard to organize and develop an office for The Center For The Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana. She is motivated by Westfield’s exciting potential and the wonderful community that exists.
