Grand Junction Task Group

The Grand Junction Task Group was formed to capitalize on one of downtown Westfield’s greatest assets: the “Grand Junction” of the Monon and Midland Trails.  The downtown will be a center for commerce, culture, vitality, assembly and recreation.

 

Grand Junction Task Group responsibilities include:

 

· Define the boundaries of downtown

· Define a central downtown business district

· Create architectural standards

· Develop a grand junction of trails

· Define a waterway and drainage plan

· Define a linear park that runs along trails

· Define the characteristics of Main Street

· Define pedestrian-friendly areas

· Present parking and traffic solutions and consider plans for the US31/SR32 interchange.
